This website will open with a transcript of an interview with Reverand Ron by Alternate News Network reporter Robert Morgan at Reverand Ron’s palatial estate on February 19th, 2007.
ANN reporter: We’re here today at the uh, I guess this is the uh,
Reverand Ron: Actually Bob, what you’re trying to say is this looks like a run down trailer without electricity and running water. Am I right?
ANN reporter: Well, uh, yea. I guess so.
Reverand Ron: That’s where you’re wrong Bob. Here in the world of time we process information by perception, and your perception of my palatial estate is it’s a run down trailer without electricity and running water. But my knowledge as an Enlightened Spiritual Master allows me to see my home as the palatial estate it really is.
ANN reporter: Uh, yea right. I guess you must receive a lot of contributions from your followers to afford such an uh, magnificent estate?
Reverand Ron: Actually I don’t. Before I became an ESM I worked as an airline mechanic for three different airlines for 40 years. My generous retirement provides this.
ANN reporter: Oh, which three airlines did you work for Rev?
Reverand Ron: I worked for Pan American, Eastern, and Trans World Airlines.
ANN reporter: Didn’t they all go out of business Rev?
Reverand Ron: Yes they did.
ANN reporter: Then how is it that you can afford this uh, palatial estate?
Reverand Ron: I didn’t receive any retirement from Pan American or Eastern. But the PBGC, thank you Uncle Sam, gives me five hundred and thirty four dollars and fifty-six cents a month for my time with Trans World Airlines.
ANN reporter: Well, o.k. Let’s go on to another question. How did you become an Enlightened Spiritual Master?
Reverand Ron: I’m self-anointed.
ANN reporter: Uh, could you elaborate on that just a little Rev?
Reverand Ron: Sure, I just made myself an ESM and so it is. You can be one too. So can anyone else.
ANN reporter: I’m sure there must be more to it than that?
Reverand Ron: Actually there isn’t.
ANN reporter: Well, o.k. Rev. I’ll ask one last question, and then we’ll wrap it up for the six o’clock news. Since you’re an Enlightened Spiritual Master perhaps you can tell us what we can do about the terrible state of the world?
Reverand Ron: There is no terrible state of the world to be concerned about. Everything is as it is and all is well.
ANN reporter: What are you talking about? What about all the wars? What about poverty? What about famine? What do you mean there’s no problem?
Reverand Ron: Let me ask you a question Bob. What would you think if you were on vacation in Hawaii and were snorkeling and noticed several sharks dining on a school of tuna fish? Would you think this was a terrible thing? Of course you wouldn’t. You would know that’s just what is. Sharks eat tuna fish and tuna fish get eaten.
ANN reporter: But how can you relate this to all the terrible wars and the killing we have among humans?
Reverand Ron: It’s just what we do.
ANN reporter: That’s totally absurd!
Reverand Ron: O.K. Bob, then do the following experiment. Next time you’re at your computer type meaning of life, world peace organizations, and history of war into the Google search engine. Then come back and tell me how many hits you get on each.
ANN reporter: Well, since you’ve obviously done that, why don’t you enlighten us, no pun intended!
Reverand Ron: Sure. There were 20,500,000 hits for meaning of life, 7,320,000 world peace organizations, and 63,400,000 for history of war.
ANN reporter: Well, I guess that’s a wrap. Any closing thoughts Rev?
Reverand Ron: Sure Bob. Let us close with the Reverand Ron Benediction.
“It might be worth a little time to think once more about the value of this world. Perhaps you will concede there is no loss in letting go all thought of value here. The world you see is merciless indeed, unstable, cruel, unconcerned with you, quick to avenge and pitiless with hate. It gives but to rescind, and takes away all things that you have cherished for awhile. No lasting love is found, for none is here. This is the world of time, where all things end.”
Reverand Ron: Amen
ANN reporter: Amen. Well, that’s a wrap for today. We’ll see you next time.
